Cyber Oceans primarily uses Microsoft web and database technology along with a third party JavaScript library called jQuery.
Database needs are most often met using
MS SQL Server.
Graphic design is generated using Macromedia/Adobe Graphic Web Design using Fireworks 8 and Flash 8.
The majority of web applications over the years have been created using ASP.Net C# Web Forms.
Recently, Cyber Oceans has begun building it's web applications for customers using the new Model View Controller [MVC2] framework from Microsoft.
Our enterprise web applications always use an n-tier architecture (Business Logic Layer [BLL], Data Access Layer [DAL], Common Business Objects Layer, and Web UI) sometimes adding an additional tier for web services using Service Oriented Architecture [
SOA] depending on the client's organizational requirements.
For smaller business data needs, we can use
XML data stores as the storage medium if desired.
Many of our web solutions utilize both Microsoft Ajax and
jQuery Ajax to minimize the appearance of post-backs. Using client-side callbacks where approriate have proven to deliver a better, more intuitive and friendly, end user experience.
